Catherine E Watson Crank

She was born July 23, 1948 in Bloomington, daughter of John V. and Louise Hobgood Watson. She married Jesse Ray Crank, Sr in 1986.

Surviving are one daughter, Jessica “Renae” (Domenic) Friguglietti and one son, Jesse R. Crank, both of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Anna M. Friguglietti, Logan Rever-Crank, Chance Crank, Carter Crank and Riley Crank and one sister, Coleen Watson of CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cathy was very passionate about her career at State Farm Insurance Company in Bloomington. She retired in 2010 after 35 years as the Director in the Systems Department.

She volunteered at Eastview Christian Church in the choir, nursery and as an usher. After her retirement, she also volunteered at OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center as a Patient Advocate and also at PATH as a Money Management Volunteer.

She was a member of Eastview Christian Church in Normal.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Entombment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at a later date.
