Brian Kelly Roake, 54, of Bloomington passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 7:50 a.m. at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. He was born June 6, 1963 in Peoria, the son of Ronald and June Leathers Roake.
Brian was a longtime resident of the Rooming House in Bloomington, which allowed him to thrive in an environment in which he felt safe and comfortable. He was an avid student of karate. Some of his greatest joys in life included building model cars and a go-kart.
Brian is survived by two sisters, Kelly Jo (David) White of Minier; and Jennifer Roake of East Peoria; a brother, Ronald Kevin Roake, Sr. of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
