Robert Laratta

Robert Laratta, age 81, of Linden, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Robert was born August 20, 1939 in Newark, NJ to the late Anthony and Mary (Ferranti) Laratta. He was a Veteran of The United States Navy and a Printer for many years for The Star Ledger and Mattia Printing both of Newark.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Grace (Howland) Laratta; A Son Robert M. and his wife Kelly; a Daughter Gina Marie Morosca; Step Daughters Sharon Heinrich and her husband John, Cheryl Harms and her husband George, and Valerie Howland; Grandchildren Vincent, Gianna, Nicole, and Brooke; step grandchildren Teddy Jr., Lisa, Alexandra, Peyton, Cameron, Katelyn, and Robert; 5 step great grandchildren; and brothers Anthony, and Ronald Laratta. Robert is pre-deceased by his brother Michael.

Visitation for Robert will be on Friday the 18th from 3 to 7 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered the following day on Saturday the 19th at 9:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield and thence to Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ for his interment. All family and friends who would like to attend the visitation and services are required to wear a facial covering and follow safe social distancing practices at all times. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to The American Cancer Society.
