Phillip Wilbanks, a resident of Birmingham, AL was born July 12, 1953 to the late Phillip O'Neal and Margaret Wilbanks.
He expired his earthly life on April 25, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Linda A. McQueen of Birmingham, AL; his daughter, Phil'Angelia (Reco); sons: Aaron, Marcus, Michael and Phillip (Jessica); grandchildren: Lareuna, Aralyn, Reco II, Phillip Jr. and Davina; other relatives and friends.
Mr. Wilbanks was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Birmingham School System and received an Associate degree from Lawson State College. Mr. Wilbanks was formerly a Correction Officer and retired from the Alabama Department of Youth Services.
His body will be cremated as he requested. Special thanks to his Homewood neighbors, Homewood Fire and Rescue and Ridout's Elmwood Chapel.
