She was preceded in death by her parents;Wesley and Agnes Kent, her husband; Bobby Crane and her siblings; Ray Kent, William Kent , Virginia Hooper and Edna Timmons.
She is survived by her daughter; Jennifer Willis (Barry), her grandson; Matthew Willis and numerous nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Jones Valley High School in 1958 and was a member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Bessemer, AL. She was an Elder, Sunday School teacher and head of the Children's department at Hueytown Cumberland Presbyterian Church before it closed in 2016.
Before her stroke in 2018, she enjoyed camping, going to panama City Beach and Gatlinburg TN with her family. She loved to cook especially baking and decorating cakes.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211, followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
