Patricia "Pat" Rae Coleman

Patricia Rae Coleman "Pat", was born June 26, 1935 and passed away February 10, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis Clements and Myrtle Clements; husband Bernard M. Coleman, Jr.; son, Wesley G. Woods, and grandson, Don Orcutt; She is survived by her sister, Laurie Wischmeyer; loving children, Calvin Woods (Melanie), Lawrence Woods, Lauri Jean Swett (Brian), David Coleman (Kathy), and Rebecca Harris; grandchildren, Derrick Woods (Kalisha), Damon Woods, Matthew Woods (financee', Subana Paramuthevar), Meagan Woods Meyer (James), Jackie Coleman, Stephen Swett, Christopher Swett, Danny Coleman, Drexler Harris, and Victor Harris; great-grandchildren, Jessie Orcutt, Gabe Davis, Hannah Davis, Lola Orcutt, Ryan Meyer, Trent Meyer, Sammy Woods, and Evie Meyer.

Pat loved her family, most especially the children. She was an avid reader of historical novels, and a master genealogist. She loved researching family history and serving others. Pat loved to sew and cook. She was also very dedicated to serving as a Temple worker and going to the Temple. She retired from Altec Industries. Pat was deeply involved with the Boy Scouts of America for 50 years; receiving the highest award that a woman can get from the council, the Silver Beaver Award. She also volunteered for many years with the Camp Fire Girls and the Girl Scouts of America. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 4pm until 6 pm at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel. A funeral service celebrating Pat's life will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 2pm at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
