Mary Ruth Marshall

MARSHALL, MARY RUTH, age 91 of Pinson, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Marshall; and brothers, Gaither Morton and Gene Morton. She is survived by her sons, Wayne Marshall (Judy), Frankie Marshall (Linda) and Kenny Marshall (Terri); daughter, Kathy Wynn (Michael); brother, Emory Jay Morton (Edna); brother-in law, Terry Marshall; sisters-in law, Nina Morton and Eunice Morton; grandchildren, Jerry Marshall (BethAnne), Jill Riddle (Jody), Brittany Pickett (Drew), Shane Wynn (Lindie), Kevin Wynn (Heather) and Kaleb Wynn; great-grandchildren, Derek Marshall, Brett Marshall, Jordyn Riddle, Jarrett Riddle, Rylan Pickett, Easton Pickett, Stella Wynn and Mitchell Wynn; and a host of nieces and nephews. Ruth was a charter member of Agape Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The family gives special thanks to her caregiver and friend, Diane Jackson. The family also wishes to thank the staff of East Glen Nursing Home for their loving care for her during her time there where she met many friends. Her family will celebrate her life on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 12-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
