Mary Ann Boutwell, 88, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Boutwell; siblings, Marvin Nix, Jr., Betty Burton, Faye Eades, and Peggy Russell. She is survived by her children, Katherine Lewis, Linda Fitzgerald (Billy), and Bobby Boutwell (Christa); grandchildren, Wendy Dunn (Jason), Jimbo Karr, Leiah Fitzgerald (Wesley), Lindsey Phillips (Stonie), Anna Fitzgerald (Riley), and Judah Fitzgerald; 7 great grandchildren; brother, John Nix; sister, Frankie Thrasher; and many nieces and nephews.
Ann was the greatest mom, sister, aunt, and grandmother anyone could ask for. She loved her church, Open Door Church, and her church family. She was very involved in serving in the food ministry at her church.
Ann's wishes were that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Open Door Church in her memory. Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 10am at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home, with a celebration of her life to follow at 11am.
Due to Covid 19 social distancing will followed and masks are required.
