Marie C. Tucker

Marie Cosby Tucker, age 92 of Springville, AL went to be with her Lord on November 19, 2013. She was the owner of Tucker Grocery. Marie was a life-long member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alpha and Betty Cosby, by the father of her children, J.B. Tucker, son, Larry Tucker, brothers, Lloyd, Bo and Earl Cosby, sister, Jeroma Simmons, son-in-laws, Doyce Buckner and Steve Daulton, daughter-in-law, Carolyn Tucker and granddaughter, Donna Buckner, special friend, Virginia Brown. She is survived by her daughters, Jean Buckner, Judy Daulton and Janice Thompson, son, Wayne (Nancy) Tucker, sister, Faye Ellis, and special nephew, Harold (Gloria) Simmons, grandchildren, Mike (Vicki) Buckner, Tim (Joy) Buckner, Vicki Buckner, Jamey (Cameron) Tucker, Donna (Pat) Dennis, Tami (Tim) Spires, Brent (Susan) Daulton and Amy Tucker. Great grandchildren, Lauren Steed, Michael Buckner, Joshua Buckner, Justin (Jessica) Buckner, Trey Tucker, Tyler Dennis, Delaney Tucker, Rebekah Wester, Matthew Dennis, Brody and Darby Daulton, and Ethan Spires. She also had a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank special caregivers and friends, Peggy Engle, Dean Hanks, Peggy Neurenburg, Vicki Stanford, Brother Mike Glasgow and friends from Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, in addition to the special staff from CareFirst Hospice, Delores Morgan, Eric Burke, James Morris, Lawanda Sims and Kim Horton. Visitation will be Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11 AM at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
