Marianne Elizabeth Timbrello Bruno, 82, passed away December 29, 2012. Visitation will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover on January 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 11: 00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Marianne is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Josephine Timbrello. Marianne is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Anthony Bruno; her sister, Josephine Spano (Sam); four children, Donna Bruno, Deborah Bruno, James Bruno (Theresa), Elizabeth Bruno Folsom (Drew); six grandchildren, Erica Clayton (Sean), Jason Paulin, Paul Michael Stephens, Lauren Paulin, Jordan and Andrew Bruno; and two great grandchildren, Nolan and Averie Clayton. Marianne was a long-time member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, and the Elizabeth Guild of St. Peter's. Marianne and Anthony travelled extensively throughout their 58 years of marriage. Marianne was the center of life for her family and friends. She had an infectious smile, a great sense of humor, a loving personality, and countless friends. Her home was warm and welcoming and she took great joy in cooking for those she loved. Long after her children were grown, she continued to nurture and guide them. They considered her their dearest friend. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the dedicated caregivers for their compassionate care and support in her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund.
