Linda Fay Brown

Linda F. Brown, age 81, of Trussville, Al. passed away at Trussville Rehab & Health on Jan. 25, 2022. Linda was born on Oct. 30, 1940, to the late Buford A. and Stella Whitaker Guthrie and grew up in Robinwood, Al. attending Tarrant Schools. She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. Her hobbies included crocheting and playing games. She loved going to Clay Senior Community Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Stella Guthrie; her brother, Dwight Guthrie, and sister, Betty Holmes.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy J. Morton; brother, Danny R. Guthrie; daughters, Terri A. Brown and Janet Brown Riggs; granddaughters, Brandi N. Cervantes, Candis Riggs Page (Justin) and Madison L. Bailey; 4 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; and numerous other relatives.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Leslie Lupton pastor of The Healing Place officiating. A private family burial will be at Emeus Cemetery in Cullman, Al.
