Baker, Mrs. Linda JoAnn, age 75 of Bayview, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 20th, 2016. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edgar and Vesta Earnest; her husband, Louie C. Baker and two daughters, Sandra Joyce Hulsey and Martha Faye Baker. She is survived by her son, Vernon Lynn Baker (Lisa), two daughters, Tammy Baker Tinker (David) and Anita Baker Cordes (Gene Sr.) and one son-in-law, John Baker. She is also survived by ten wonderful grandchildren and twenty one precious great grandchildren, all of whom she knew by name and never missed a birthday. In following the wish of Mrs. Linda Baker, the family requests that donations be made to the AMERCIAN CANCER SOCIETY of ALABAMA, in place of flowers. To all family and friends wishing to pay respects; the viewing will be held at Elmwood Chapel on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 1:00p.m. – 2:00p.m, with funeral services following at 2:00p.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
