Kathryn Kirksey

Kathryn J. Kirksey, age 65, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on February 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Johnson and Mary Ella Bryant and sister, Sue Ella Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Tiawanna Johnson and Kaneisha Johnson; one son, Javery Johnson and daughter in law Donna Johnson; brother, Jack Johnson and sister in law Vinnie Ward and beloved granddaughters, Kha’Dasia Johnson and Janis Houston and many other relatives and friends. Kathryn loved going to the beach, traveling, going to Church and spending time with her beloved relatives and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Elmwood Chapel Funeral with a Celebration of Kathryn’s life following on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Facemask and social distancing are required.
