Judy, you were like a sister to me when I ilved with you and your family in Bessemer.  We slept 3 in a double bed, your sister Frances, you and me and never felt like complaining.   You were a sweet younger sister to Frances, my other "sister" who I was close to right up unti l her death.  I was married to Judy's brother, Jimmy, and unfortunately lost our first son,  I will never forget you, Judy.  I know  you're in heaven with your mom and daddy and especially Bob.  I loved Bob, too and he always thanked me for being instrumental in his good career.  He is a good person, too, and you two were great together.  I have loads of memories of you both and you were special in my life.  I know Heaven received you.  

I considered Mrs. Hardy as my second mom for at least 4 years of my childhood.  My life was blessed by having her in that role at that time in my life.  I love her so much!  I will always remember how she would wake us up in the morning with this simple question...  "Boys...  Do you want your eggs scrambled?.......... Or do you want bacon?"

I never knew how to answer that.

I will miss her very much!

We are so saddened to hear of Judy’s passing. She was such a sweet, beautiful friend. Loved the way she and Bob loved each other! Now she will be with Jesus and Bob in Heaven, RIP Judy, you will be missed! Praying for all of the family members.

I am so sad to here of Judy's passing. It has just brought a flood of memories. My husband and I met Judy and Bob when they married and moved to Orlando.  We were neighbors and went to the same church. We enjoyed getting together as often as possible.  The  guys played golf - a lot!  They were a fun couple and always kept us all laughing at one thing or another.  One story, I remember was when Bobby was born - omg, they just loved that little fellow so much, as we all do our children. Judy was a fantastic Mother and Bobby always looked sharp.  His little white high-top shoes were polished every single night or morning before they would be put on his feet. She never missed a day with the polish.  We laughed a lot about that, as I was not one to polish shoes every day.  Two years ago, I visited her in Trussville with my daughter, who went to Al, - Roll Tide, my sister and niece. It was so good to see her and really enjoyed that time together. My prayers are with  ya'll, and I  know a hole is in your heart.  But, you know where she is and one day you will see her again.

I met Judy and Bob at the Magic City Boppers years ago and was instantly impressed by them.  She was so kind to everyone and although I didn’t attend often, she would occasionally send me a message asking how I’m doing.  That meant so much to me.  My condolences to the family and all her many friends. ❤️
