WADSWORTH, JOHN PAUL, age 76 of Irondale, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Wadsworth. He is survived by his sons, Craig Wadsworth (Missey) and Brent Wadsworth (Jennifer); grandchildren, Amanda Wadsworth, Aidan Wadsworth, Britney Obarr and Molly Obarr; great-grandsons, Brodie Wadsworth and Kayden Obarr; brother, Ronald Wadsworth (Becky); and several nieces and nephews. Paul was a devoted husband and wonderful father. He retired from Liberty National Life Insurance Co. He served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Valley View Baptist Church. Paul loved fishing more than sleeping and always made everyone smile with his jokes. He will be deeply missed. His family will receive friends on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 12-2 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 2. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
