JIMMY DWAYNE SMITH, age 56 of Springville, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was born in Ozark, AL on April 8, 1965. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Stanford White; and grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Lewis F. Stanford. He is survived by his sister, Angie Gunter (Mike); brother, Hank Usher (Alyson); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended Stanford family. Dwayne graduated from Springville High School and attended Jefferson State. He loved his dogs, B. B. and Titan, and enjoyed watching Alabama football. Dwayne will be greatly missed by his friends who were like his family and affectionately called him “Jeebs”. His family will celebrate his life with visitation on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 12-1 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 1:00. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
