She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Henry (Butter) Miller and her father, William Laslie Holemon.
She is survived by sons, Richard Lance Miller (Marianne) and Jacob Wade Miller (Tiffany); granddaughter, Aralynn Elizabeth Miller; her mother, Marjorie Holemon; and sisters, Carol Holemon Murphy and Susan Holemon.
Janet was an incredibly loving daughter, sister, mother, Gran-Jan, and friend. Janet taught in the Jefferson County School System for over 30 years. She loved her students and was adored in return. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Trussville Civic Center 5381 Trussville Clay Rd. Trussville, AL. 35173.
