Mr. James William Morgan, age 92, of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023. He is preceded in death by his wife George Ann Morgan, sister Netty Williams, and his brother, Sam Morgan. Jim is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Garnto, son-in-law Tim Garnto, grandson, Joshua Garnto; and sister Peggy Murphy, Nieces, Misti Valentine and Paulette Williams. Nephews David Langston and Jeff Williams.
The son of Sam and Josephine Morgan, Jim was born in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Air Force. After his service, he returned to Birmingham where he married George Ann Langston. Jim pursued a long career as a salesman, retiring from Nucor Steel company. His passions include golf, Alabama Football, and doting on his grandson.
There will be a private committal service and internment for the family and friends at Elmwood Cemetery.
Generations of Grace Church will hold a Celebration of Life service for Jim on January 7th, at 2:00 p.m.
