He was preceded in death by his parents Cooper and Alma Horton, son Jimbo Horton. James is survived
by his wife Betty, Daughter Martha (Scott) Trucks, Step children Ernie (Donna) Essig, Kenny (Heidi)
Essig and Dorothy (David) Buck.The family would like extend a special thank you to Southeast
Hospice of Birmingham, Stacey, Jennifer, Karla, Deborah, and David. They were my angels. The family will
receive friends September 8, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Graveside service at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Cemetery.
