James R. Bibby, age 73 of Birmingham, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. James was a veteran of the U. S. Army and proudly served with the 5th Special Group Infantry during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Pratt Industries and enjoyed spending some of his spare time at Wind Creek Casino. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Bibby; his son, James Russell Bibby; and a brother, Donald Ray Bibby. James is survived by his sons, Jerrye Bibby and James Austin Bibby; his daughters, Pamela Bibby and Tina Bibby; a brother, Chuck Bibby (his wife, Sue) and a sister, Lena Littlefield; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 1 to 2 PM. A graveside service will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Oneonta, AL beginning at 3 PM.
