GRIFFITH, ELIZABETH ANN “SISSY”, age 63 of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. She was born in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Williams and Louis Giardino. She is survived by her son, J.R. Griffith (Nicoli); daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Cook; brother, Father Louis Giardino; and grandchildren, C.J. Hogeland and Haylee E. Cook. She was a loving sister, mother and memaw . Sissy was employed by Protective Life for over 40 years. Her family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 9-11 at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic in Trussville, AL. Her mass of resurection will begin at 11 AM with Father Louis Giardino officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
