Elise Marie Ware DuBois, age 66, of Birmingham, AL died Tuesday January 25, 2022. Elise was born the daughter of Thomas Hamon Ware and Betty Ann Cobb Ware in Chalkville, Alabama. She was a devout Christian and life long member of the Methodist Church.
Elise graduated from Birmingham Southern College in 1978 where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She entered employment with BellSouth immediately thereafter and retired from AT&T.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cecilia Ann Ware, and father, Thomas Hamon Ware. Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Jim DuBois; her mother, Betty C Ware; her brother Terry W Ware (Joan); and her step-son James DuBois (Jennifer).
The visitation will be at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 1 pm. A graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery at 2pm.
