Edward Eddie Stanley Ferguson VII

Edward Stanley Ferguson, VII age 3 of Moody Alabama passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. Survivors include his parents: Ed and Ashley Ferguson; grandparents: Phillip and Emily Peterson & Edward and Sandra Ferguson; aunt, Stacey and Nicholas Jessee; cousin, Landon Jessee; uncles: Brian Ferguson and Daniel Ferguson. Arrangements under the direction of Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, Birmingham, AL.

The day Eddie was born was the most wonderful day of his parent's life. He was absolutely loved and treasured by them each and every day. In April of 2013 Eddie was diagnosed with hepatablastoma, a rare liver cancer found in children. He fought extremely hard for such a long time. Despite all of his treatments and hospital visits, "Super" Eddie was a happy, loving child that brought such great joy to all who knew him. His smile, voice and laugh could light up any room. He loved watching YouTube videos on his iPad, especially videos of the ABC's, numbers, and shapes. He learned all of his letters and was able to identify them and line them up in the correct order. Eddie had so much fun at his Busy BEE’s and Mother’s Day Out classes playing with the other children. He had quite the collection of Play-Doh and loved going to the "Play-Doh store", otherwise known as Walmart, to get new cans of Play-Doh to play with. When he wasn't sculpting masterpieces he was using his Marker Maker to create his own markers to color with. You could often find his parents and puppies taking long walks around the neighborhood while he rode in his little red pick-up truck. He enjoyed lots of weekend trips often visiting different children’s museums, zoos and aquariums. His favorite foods were rice (especially from his favorite Chinese buffet), M&M's and Hershey bars. In addition to his family he is remembered by a host of loving friends and neighbors.
