Denise Addy Lee

LEE, DENISE ADDY, age 80 of Springville, formerly of Pleasant Grove, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. “Bill” Lee. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Goforth (Dean) and Donita Helms (Mike); brother, Dale Addy (Susan); brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lee (Donna) and Terry Lee (Jackie); sister-in-law, Lucy Thraikill (Gene); grandchildren, Jeremy Goforth (Tawny), Christen Kelley (Chris), Logan Goforth, Harrison Goforth, Morgan Helms (Mandy) and Mason Helms (Lyrica); great grandchildren, Hunter Carnes, Addy Kelley, Clara Kelley, Carson Helms and Ira Lynn Goforth; and numerous precious nieces and nephews. Denise was born in Dayton, OH. She was living in Alameda, CA where she met the love of her life, Bill and they eloped to Reno. After he got out of the service, they moved to Alabama and enjoyed a wonderful life together as best friends. The family will celebrate her life with visitation on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens beginning at 11:00.
