I have such fond memories of you and Candice catering/attending events - such as a Halloween party wearing dramatic costumes. She has always been so lovely in her countenance and kindness, plus her caring and fun personality!

It’s hard to believe I have to write a memory about someone that I  cared and loved very much. You have special people in your lifetime  that make an impact on you and help you become the person that you are and Candice was one. She hired a kid in college that she never met on the recommendation from a friend and I’m forever grateful. Candice started out as my boss but overtime became my big sister and I will miss her. I learned about life and work from Candice and she had an major imprint in my life. Thank you Candice! I love you and you will be forever in my heart. -Skip

I’ve known Candice for over 40 years. I met her when I was planning a meeting at The Hyatt and she was catering coordinator. We immediately became friends.
During that friendship, we shared many funny moments. What Candice didn’t know about me, but soon found out ~~ I was born clumsy. One day as she was walking with me down the mezzanine  steps  to the lobby, I lost my balance and was heading down the steps. To break my fall, I flung out my arms and my hand caught in between the buttons of Candice’s shirt. I took us both to landing!  It was a miracle, we never hit the floor. 
Candice once had a Halloween party and a guy showed up and made himself at home. She thought he was a friend of someone at the party. But, no, he heard people having a good time and joined in the fun. He was graciously asked to leave. She also chased a wayward boyfriend off with an umbrella. 
Candice was a tremendous help to me when I temporarily moved to Chicago to plan a large meeting of industry professionals.  She would fly up and stay as long as necessary and work until late at night helping me with meeting details. On one such visit Candice noticed a mobile cart that was not being used by the HR director. The cart had two settings — turtle and hare. Thinking the boss was out of the office, she climbed on and was racing down the hall , hair and skirt flying , shouting full hare!  At that moment the boss stepped out of his office. Besides nearly running over him, she nearly took out the copy machine. We were laughing hysterically and couldn’t even apologize. He shook his head and went back into his office. 
Candice  was one of the  most loyal, kind, loving, caring people I’ve ever known.  Even though she claimed to prefer dogs and not like cats, if Gracie didn’t show up for several days, she went looking for her. 
My life has been so much better with her in it. She was the sisterI never had, truly a blessing.
So farewell my sweet friend. God’s speed and full hare into heaven!  Pamela 

Many wonderful memories and fun times with Candice.  She was a special lady with such a giving heart.   Prayers for God's peace and comfort for Cathy, Jan, Bill and her extended family and friends. Love to you all!   

I remember flying to Boston to visit Jan. I remember singing to Candice and Jan - "More than Words" while I listened along on my headphones. I remember her popping a huge blackhead for me and encouraging me to use Noxzema. I remember her checking me out of school to go to the orthodontist. I remember Big Brother/Big Sister costume contest and banquets. I remember learning how to cut a wedding cake. I remember "use a fork" when stuffing chicken salad into pastry cups. I remember to replenish trays before they looked empty. I remember Bradley and Oscar. I remember her sports car- Fiero. I remember trying not to throw up in her new white jaguar. So many great lessons and memories.   I remember her at my wedding. I remember introducing her to my daughter. I remember showing her around my home. She was the coolest Big Sister.
