BETTY L. PUGH, age 84 of Birmingham, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton O. Pugh. She is survived by her children, William O. Pugh (Karen), Shirley Slay (Brooks), Dale Pugh (Stephanie), Denise Masters (Vernon) and Dawn Downes (J); brother, Wendell Ayers (Juanita); 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Betty was a longtime member of McElwain Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Her family will celebrate her life on Friday, April 9, 2021 with visitation from 1-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
