A compassionate and loving wife, sister, mother and friend. Family and friends remember her captivating smile and infectious laugh in spite of years of pain due to her battle with scleroderma. A life-long passion for children led her to become an elementary school teacher but her true gift was lovingly guiding her children and grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Mark; Daughter, Marcy (Daniel) Opstal; son, David (Mistey) Goldstone. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Alexander and Juliana Opstal, Noah, Michael and Ethan Goldstone.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara’s memory can be made to Goldstone Family Youth Education Fund of the Grafman Endowment Fund for Temple Emanu-El, or the charity of your choice.
