She graduated from Phillips High School and attended Birmingham Southern College where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield until meeting and marrying her husband Frank. They were long time residents of Center Point and long time members of The First Baptist Church of Center Point. Ann and Frank enjoyed raising their children, traveling and spending time with their family and many friends. Ann especially enjoyed all of her “Coffee Club” friends. Ann was also an excellent corporate wife, accompanying Frank on numerous conventions and events for Southern Natural Gas where they made many life long friends. After retirement, Ann and Frank enjoyed traveling the world. She enjoyed the great outdoors and nature and instilled that love in her children and grandchildren. Her favorite place to visit was the Great Smoky Mountains and she had many fond memories there with family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of New Beacon Hospice, her nurse Cathy Dorsey and aide Terri White for their excellent care. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Riodut’s Trussville Chapel.
