Angela Vacarella, age 74, passed away September 30, 2024. She was born on October 27, 1949, in Birmingham, AL to Anthony and Marie Vacarella. Angela was a graduate of John Carroll High School and retired from BellSouth.
She is preceded in death by her father, Anthony J. Vacarella, Sr.; mother, Marie L. Vacarella; brothers Marion Vacarella and Anthony J. Vacarella, Jr.
She is survived by her son David Shaddix (Mary Beth) of Sterrett, AL; brothers Jake Vacarella (Sherri) of Portland, OR; Ross Vacarella (Patricia) of Cumming, GA; James Vacarella (Sherry) of Helena, AL; sister Bernice Graben (Ken) of Cropwell, AL; sister-in-law Linda Vacarella of Mount Olive, AL and many nieces and nephews.
Angela was loved dearly by so many, and she will be missed beyond measure.
Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2024, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the Chapel of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Preserve Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35226 with celebration of life service following at 3:00pm with Fr. John Fallon, Pastor Emeritus, officiating.
