Carol A. Pace

Carol A. (Miele) Pace, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her father, Angelo Miele. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jim Pace, Binghamton; her children, James and Cheryl Pace, Endicott; Pamela and Patrick VanPutte, Binghamton; grandchildren, Mauriana and Patrick VanPutte, Binghamton; her mother, Mary Miele, Binghamton; Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ricky and Cindi Pace, Binghamton; nephews, Anthony and Nikke Pace, Binghamton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was a retired employee of the Binghamton City School District and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Carol was an avid NY Yankee fan and a fan of slot machines. Above all, Carol loved spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 8:45 AM at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY and continue at 9:30 AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
