Joseph was born in Bridgeport, CT, where he attended local schools.
Then Joseph and his family moved to Shelton, CT. After marriage he lived with his wife in Danbury, CT for five years before moving to Newton, CT for 23 years and then moving to Beverly Hills, FL in 1996.
Mr. Kozak was employed as a manager for Southern Connecticut Telephone Company in Danbury before retiring in 1994.
Joseph was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Joseph was also a member of the United States Army which he served proudly.
Besides his wife, Mr. Kozak leaves a brother Robert and wife Judy of Enfield, CT.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, brother Peter Kozak M.D., and sisters Joan Slaughter and Dolores Sterbinski.
