Edward was born to Mary Francis Durish and Adolf Hinz at Park West Hospital. Growing up in the post World War II suburb of Central Islip, New York, Edward married Barbara Ann Waite on February 25, 1967 in St. John of God Church. They had two children; Jennifer in 1968 and Edward Jr. in 1978. He worked for the Town Of Islip Highway Department for 34 years, before retiring to Partlow, Virginia in 2000. When the quiet of rural Partlow Virginia became too much to bear they relocated to Beverly Hills Florida in 2003.
Edward is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Jennifer Hinz-Omuletz, and son-in-law Christopher Omuletz.
