Cynthia Jean Koskosky-Hasenjager passed away December 12, 2024 at her home in Ocala, FL with her family at her side. She was born July 14, 1955 in Chicago, IL where she lived until fulfilling a long held dream of moving to Florida.
On September 18, 1976 she married the love of her life, David J. Hasenjager, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, WI. They were blessed with 50 years together, 48 as husband and wife. They were also blessed with two daughters, Kristen (Mike) Dietz and Kelly Hasenjager and three grandchildren, Brian Hasenjager, Sophia Dietz and Kara Dietz.
Cindy Jean spent much of her career in sales. With an outgoing and friendly personality she built a large client base in Tupperware, making many lifelong friends. Later in her career she returned to administrative assistance at Lurie Children’s Hospital. She had a passion for helping family and friends, was an outstanding hostess for many parties and family get-togethers and could be counted on to lend a sympathetic ear.
She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren; her father-in-law Don Hasenjager; and siblings Frank (Phyllis) Koskosky, John (Nan) Koskosky, Mike (Mary) Koskosky, Kim (Jim) Everett, Ken (Betty) Koskosky, Mary Koskosky and Richard Koskosky; brother-in-law Mark (Gloria Lautenback) Hasenjager and sister-in law Cindy (Bill Banks) Hasenjager and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Ann and Frank Koskosky and mother-in-law Barbara Hasenjager.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on February 8, 2024 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 6150 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 35478.
