Betty Lou Gee passed away on Thursday Nov. 23, 2023. A very active, long-time resident of Summerfield after moving from Miami in the mid 90’s. Born in Clarksville, NY she was a former Red Hat Lady and always out and about in The Villages, Mt Dora and Ocala enjoying dining, dancing, polo events and public activities as well as traveling. She loved spending time with her three children Kim Gee and wife Leann, Tory Gee and wife Lori and Trisha Keating, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 63 years, Leo Gee and her son Leo Ray and daughter Kerri Ann. Together, Betty and Leo built a life through 21 years in the Air Force and 20 Years with Eastern airlines. We will forever miss and remember her enthusiasm and drive for living life and filling every day to the fullest.
A visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a reception to follow on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center, 7134 Powell Road, Wildwood, FL 34785.
