Oklahoma City resident, Lillian Marie Zemler-Davis went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, June 29, 2020. She was born on November 24, 1929 in Salina, Kansas to Joseph Nicholas and Gladys Goldie (Taylor) Zemler. Lillian was 1 of 9 children: Martin, Aaron, Magdelena, Gerard, JoAnna, Leonard, Mary, and James. Lillian married the love of her life, Clayton Lee Davis, on August 22, 1949. Together they raised their daughters, Data and Dayna. She was their rock and their strength. She was a strong Catholic Woman who would pray with and for her husband and children. She loved her tradition of taking her family to midnight mass on Christmas Eve. She also loved to cook her green bean casserole, date nut pudding, and stuffing for the turkey. Lillian was a woman who had a heart of gold and never complained about anything. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who will be missed dearly by her family and her friends. She is at peace. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton (Dec. 12, 1978); daughter, Data JoAnna Davis (Oct. 8, 2019); siblings, Martin, Magdelena, Mary, and James. Those left to cherish their memories are her daughter, Dayna Sue Davis Wheat; granddaughter, Ashley Wheat; siblings, Aaron, Gerard, JoAnna, and Leonard; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be 12pm-5pm Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
Services will be held 11am Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
