Lee Richard Taylor

Lee Richard Taylor passed away on November 8, 2024 in Oklahoma City at the age of 64. Lee was born July 5, 1960 in Oklahoma City to Richard Lee Taylor and La Nora Ann McGuire Workman. Lee was a sports fan, as a young man he was active in many sports and later got involved in the game of baseball with friends and was Captain of the team. He worked for the City of OKC for 14 years as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed the outdoors including camping and fishing. Lee was good hearted and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Gage Lee Taylor and sister, Tracy Taylor. He is survived by his 2 children and their mother, Logan Taylor and wife, Brooke of Yukon, Kristen Taylor and husband, George Helmstetler of Mustang and Shirley Campbell of Yukon, 4 grandchildren, Jaydon Helmstetler, Rylee Taylor, Jackson Taylor and Eden Helmstetler, his sister Shari Taylor and many other relatives and friends

A visitation for Lee will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bill Merritt Funeral Service, 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
