Jerry Lee Sims, 73 has gone home to be with her husband of 41 years, Gerald who passed in 2003. She was born on July 2, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK to Jerry C. and Maurine Chatham Butler. She worked at DPS in the intoxilizers department for over 20 years. Jerry is survived by daughter, Cheryl Smith, son, Barry Sims and wife, Amber, grandchildren, Trey Smith and fiancée, Kristyn McVeigh, Kristynna Sims, Samuel Baggs, Lexie Doty and Taylor Doty, great grandchildren, Aiden, Autumn, Eli, Syler, Asher, Coraline and 1 on the way as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Jerry was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held at The Gate Church on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM with entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
