James Grant Challis, 80, passed away September 14, 2010 in Oklahoma City. He was born March 25, 1930 in Lookepa, Oklahoma to Ulysses Anthony and Mae Grace (Clark) Challis. James worked as a commercial carpenter for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Oleta Challis; wife of 3 years, Ella Marie Challis; and several brothers and sisters. James is survived by his daughters, Susan Pebworth, Debra Evans and her husband, Al, and Nita Allison; brother, Roy Challis; sisters, Ella Mae Allen, Florence McGraw, Lenora Anderson and Mary Frances West; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
