Glenda J. Kruger

Glenda Joan Kruger was born June 23, 1936 in Meridian, Oklahoma to Glen and Iris Decker. She passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 with her family by her side. Glenda spent her childhood years in Guthrie before her family moved to the Oklahoma City area. She worked many different jobs throughout her life including cosmetology, telephone operator and also part of the sales team at Sears on 23rd. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, gardening, and craft work. She recently began using Facebook and greatly enjoyed keeping in touch with her grandchildren and commenting on their posts, using ALL CAPS, of course. Glenda enjoyed being a hostess to her family and to her friends over the years. She had a wonderful gift for making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. She was feisty, determined, independent, and loved her family with her entire being. She was a terrific mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed more than words can ever say. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bill Kruger; her parents and brother, Wayne Decker. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Coats, Ronda Jo Kemerley, and Susie Boyer; grandchildren, Justin Coats, Josh Coats, Courtney Richmond, Chad Kemerley, Andrea Dudley, Jordan Boyer and Ethan Boyer; 7 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Patsy Decker; as well as many other family and friends.
