Elizabeth Ruth Bryan Britton went to be with her Lord on December 29, 2010. She was born April 6, 1915 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to Annie Eliza Miles & Ralph Guyer Bryan. She married the love of her life Bufford Britton in Weatherford, OK on December 6, 1935. She attended college in Weatherford, OK and received a teaching certificate that she never used. Her real mission in life was raising and caring for her family. She had a tendency to take the blame if family members had problems but never took credit for their achievements. Her place of worship for most of her life was Capitol Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. She was a member of a women’s circle group at the church and the local Flower Club. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Harold (Buddy); her sisters, Mary, Wynona and Betty; her husband Bufford; and grandchildren, Monty Bryan Britton, Joshua Britton and Rachel Britton.
