Linda Louise Baird

Linda Louise Briggs Baird of Centerton, AR passed away on June 10, 2022, at the age of 73. She was born on April 4, 1949, in Fayetteville, AR to Homer and Lourrene Briggs. She was the oldest of seven children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Kenneth Tinker and a granddaughter Odrianna Sutherland. She is survived by her son Russell Baird his wife Amy, daughter Alexa Sutherland and her husband Thomas, and stepson George Tinker. Four grandchildren Shani Baird Davis, Keenan Baird, Olivea Sutherland, Osten Sutherland, Rorei Tinker, and Lacey Tinker. Three great grandchildren Harmoni Davis, Troy Davis, and Camdyn Baird. Two sisters Diana Bell, Carolyn Barron and husband Danny, Four brothers Jerry Briggs and wife Carol, Robert Briggs and wife Joan, Lee Briggs and wife Tish, and David Briggs. Several nieces and nephews and her loyal canine companion BoBo.

Linda spent most of her life in northwest Arkansas and was a graduate of Bentonville High School class of 1967. She was a hairdresser for over 35 years serving the Bella Vista, AR community and owned her own hair salon Linda’s Hair Studio. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her family fiercely. In her spare time, she loved reading, researching her genealogy, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her best friends.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. A celebration of life will be Saturday July 2 at the Centerton Community Room located at 290 North Main St Centerton, AR. Linda did not want a funeral but did want friends and family to gather for a meal and visit. This will be an informal gathering and friends and family are invited to drop in anytime between 2:00pm to 4:30pm.
