Martha M. Walton

Martha M. Walton 81, of Belton Missouri departed this life on Sunday, February 20th, 2022. Martha was born on May 11, 1940 in Lamar, Missouri to George and Augusta Shelton. She was united in marriage to Elmer Thomas Walton on February 22, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Through the years, Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Her love and passion was being a mother to her four children, as she always said she lived for her kids. She always put being a mom first.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and recently her brother Wayne.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Sharon Depew (Robert) Urich, Missouri; three sons, Gary Walton (Hazel) Pittsburg, Missouri, Jerrol Walton (Cyndi) Peculiar, Missouri and Donald Walton (Karen) Belton, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Amy Walton Pittsburg, Missouri; Scot Walton Pittsburg, Missouri; Kelsey Walton (Ben Chase, Fiance) Belton, Missouri; Melody Walton Belton, Missouri; Amanda Anderson Columbia, Missouri; 2 great grandsons, Devin and Jordon; 2 great granddaughters Makayla and Brionna; 1 great-great grandson Tsion; and 1 great-great granddaughter Tzapporah.

A visitation for Martha will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at McGilley & George Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 611 Chestnut, Belton, MO 64012. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Belton Cemetery, 710 S. Scott Ave., Belton, MO 64012.
