Francis "Ray" Raymond George Jr.

Ray George Jr., known lovingly as a father to Sheila Milikean, Wesley George, Deborah Pomeroy, Loretta Kneebone, Angela Basore, and Jason George, and a cherished grandfather to an extensive family tree including Bryan George, Charlie Pomeroy, Robin Pomeroy, Megan Laffoon, Kyle Tingly, Rebekah Huth, Allison Basore, Katrina Basore, and Matthew Basore. His legacy further extended to great-grandchildren Deven George, Colton George, Presley Laffoon, Payton Laffoon, Reese Tingly, and Nolan Huth.

Throughout his life, Ray shared his journey with Blanch George, Julie George, and Eline Hupp, all of whom he cherished deeply. Alongside them, he treasured his lifelong friendship with George Loughin.

Ray, born on August 23rd, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri, made his mark in the Kansas City area where he spent much of his life. A proud veteran who served in the US military during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany, Ray was not only a dedicated serviceman but also a skilled carpenter, Amsoil enthusiast, and scrap yard manager.

His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he found solace and inspiration through his devotion to Christianity, with a daily devotion to tuning in to the envagincal David Jeremiah program.

Ray's vibrant spirit was reflected in his love for dancing, enjoying lively moments on the dance floor, finding joy in simple pleasures at the park, and creating unforgettable memories with his granddogs. His infectious happiness and zest for life were evident in every moment spent outside of work or Amsoil ventures.

He will be remembered for his storytelling personality, his dedication to his preaching of end times, and the warmth he brought to the lives of those around him. Ray George leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
