Joyce was born February 8, 1938 to Andrew and Hilda (Dammerich) Jackson in Belleville, Illinois. She married Louis Tiemann on August 31, 1957.
Joyce found peace in gardening and baking. She touched many lives with Family Friends Memories of a Lifetime creating bears out of loved ones clothing. For years, Joyce was involved with the philanthropic sorority Delta Theta Tau. She worked at Ahners Greenhouse and Home Instead Senior Care Services.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Tiemann and son, John Tiemann.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Mark and Debbie Tiemann, Klay and Julie Tiemann, and daughter, Jill Hinrichs and Alan McAtee; her grandchildren, Courtney and Josh Luecking, Mallory and Morad Afia, Phil and Keshia Tiemann, Tyler and Julie Tiemann, Taylor and Chris Eck, Lauren and Michelle Kinney, Derek and Hillary Hinrichs, and Daniel and Karyn Hinrichs; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Ava Luecking, Nora Verceles, Maxwell and Theodore Afia, Madeline and Luke Tiemann, John and Andrew Tiemann, Charles Eck, Maxine Kinney, Sloane and Thea Hinrichs, and Bennett Hinrichs; sisters, Janice Schneider and Jean Thouvenot, and brother, Jay and Jean Jackson.
Join us for a Celebration of Life at Fletcher’s Kitchen and Tap on Saturday, April 29th, 2023. The celebration is an open house from 11:00-2:00. Fletchers is located at 1524 Clinton Hills Parkway, Swansea, Illinois.
