Ross Day,88, passed away peacefully early Christmas Eve at Seven Acres Nursing Home. He is survived by and was the beloved husband of his wife Verna for 63 years and his two children Debbie Hohman and husband Wayne and Don Day; grandchild, Danny and his wife Haley; great-granddaughter, Payton. He was like a father to his nephew Lloyd and nieces, Belinda and Sherry Lou.
He enjoyed singing with his church and sang at the officers club for the Air Force during WWII. He served as a tailgunner during the war. He most recently sang at the West U. Baptist Church Prime Time Singers. He was a deacon at (R.P.B.C.) Bellaire Central Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. The Interment will be 2:30p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 201 at Houston National Cemetery.
