Robert Roy Lemmon, Jr.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Roy Lemmon Sr., grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Lemmon and Mr. and Mrs. JE White, and sister Laura Jean Lemmon. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Lee Lemmon of Pearland, TX, sister Carol Lam and her husband, Michael Lam of Houston, TX, and son, Beau Pope and his wife Jessica Pope of Houston, TX.

Bob lived most of his early years in Pearland, TX and graduated from Pearland High School. He was involved in many different activities including sports, choir, and theatre. During his senior year, Bob got the opportunity to go on a trip to Vienna as part of the school choir. Bob was always naturally artistic, and enjoyed many different types of art. He also had a passion for music and taught himself to play the guitar at age 16. Among all of his many talents, he found his passion for acting and drama while in school. He acted in many different productions throughout his years with Pearland Schools. Bob was awarded a scholarship for drama to Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, TX. He went on to act in many different types of productions including television commercials. He also loved photography, travel, carpentry, fishing, and especially gardening. He found another lifelong passion when he became a licensed massage therapist. He genuinely enjoyed his profession, especially the friends he made along the way.

Aside from all of his many talents and interests, Bob was best known for the love he had for his friends and family, especially his son, Beau.

Services in honor of his memory will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Earthman Funeral Home in Bellaire, TX
