I worked around JB his much of his career at Exxon   I learned how kind he was and such a hard worker. My condolences to his family. His presence I’m sure will be missed.

I would like to commemorate the life of my father John Anderson.  My dad was family and a friend to many.  I can honestly say that my father was the toughest man I will ever know.  He was always someone I could count on in my life, and there are not many people that you can say will be there for you in a time of need.  But my dad was always there and was always a constant for me.  My dad told me that he intended to live until he was 100, and I believed him.  It is still hard for me to realize he is gone, and this is why his passing is such a tragic loss.  

I was fortunate enough to get to spend time with him the weekend before he died.  He brought us food from Chick fila.  My dad said he got “two sandwiches for the working man” Marcos.  He loved and was so proud of his grandchildren, and a visit would not be complete without my dad saying, “Take my picture.”  He always wanted to hold his baby granddaughter Ella and did not want to let her go.   We both had a good laugh.  Every time he saw baby Ella, he would want to hold her and sing to her “You are my sunshine,” the same song he would sing to me.  My dad was so gentle with Luke, and Luke was always comforted by his presence.

The last time I saw my dad, I asked him, “so Dad, do you have any big plans or anything coming up?”  He told me that he did not, so I know he is at peace in Heaven.  My dad’s passing has shown me that our time here is short.  I wished that I could have had more time with my dad, especially for his grandchildren’s sake, but at the end of the day, you have to do what makes you happy.  For my dad, one of those things was riding through the country. Despite the tragic nature of my father’s death, my father died doing what he loved to do.  How many of us will say we died doing what we truly loved?

I work at Blinn College in the Student Center office.  John was the sweetest nicest Man to us all. Always had something nice to say about anyone and was big on giving compliments. I work 19 hours a week and he always had a compliment and the one I will miss the most  is, "Your doing a fine job" or  a great Job!  I will truly miss this amazing Man! My heart goes out to  his whole family!!

My broken heart goes out to John's entire family. I loss a fellow employee and a friend, and it has left an emptiness beyond measure. I can only imagine the sorrow that his entire family is going through. John was always gracious and humble and will never forget some of his sayings that would bring us laughter. He often attended my grandson's Cub football games, and we would get him to come set with our family. and we enjoyed the games together. John was quiet and a private person, but I knew him well enough to know two things definite about him. He loved his family, and he loved God and because of the ladder, I know that one day, we will meet again. I will forever miss you, my friend.

My name is Dennis Kocich. I've been retired from Blinn College as Director of Facilities for about 4 years. I was the person that hired John Anderson many years ago for Blinn College. There are so many words a person could say about John. I don't believe in my entire career I ever had such a dedicated person like John. John was my off-campus courier. Once John learned his responsibilities, you never had to worry that the job wasn't going to be done. My heart hurts today of the loss of a great man.
My prayers go out to John and his Family.  Heaven has an awesome man.

John or JB was an amazing man, who is responsible for my love for the outdoors and shooting guns.
I lost contact with him over the years, but after reading, I can tell he continued living a fulfilling life.
He was definitely a Godly man.
I pray for  the family, and Katie during these times. May J.B.s memory, be eternal 

Sorry to hear of John’s passing. He was a nice man. He sure loved his motorcycles and guns. Always took overtime at the refinery.

John B. Anderson 04/25/55-10/13/22.  Seeing the birth date and the final date makes Johns’ passing oh so real.  Mary, words cannot describe how I sense you, your family, relatives and friends must feel.  I am totally in a state of shock hearing John has ascended into the clouds to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  John is now in a state of bliss! Waiting for all of us to one day, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, join him . . . so shall we even be with the Lord 
I Cor 15:52, I Thes 4:17.  Rest peacefully dear John.  As the old song says “The Good Die Young”. Praying for the family  


To the Anderson Family and Friends,  I'm so deeply sorry for your loss of your wonderful person, John Anderson.   He will be greatly missed.

Dear John,  I will miss you greeting me on our work mornings with 'Howdy' and your 'we'll see you later' in the afternoons.  I'm so honored to have known you during your stay here on earth and your work here at Blinn.  I will truly miss you being the only one to say thoughtful things such as 'you are doing a excellent job' and  'keep up the good work'.  When I heard of your passing my heart broke as I asked 'Why John' over and over again.  One thing I was told is that the Lord needed you more than we do.  Loss is something I will never understand but knowing that you are in the hands of the Great Almighty is a blanket of comfort that I will hold on to forever and a day.  Please watch over your family as they need your comfort more than ever.   Miss and love you.
