Amy Sachs Keller

Amy Sachs Keller passed away peacefully in her home in Houston, TX on Saturday, October 2, 2021 after complications from a recent surgery. She was 50 years old and was born on December 28, 1970, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Marsha Lurie Sachs and Carl Harry Sachs.

She attended and graduated from Dulles High School in Ft. Bend County and went on to attend and graduate from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in education. She also earned her master’s degree in education.

Amy spent her life in the field of education working primarily with students with disabilities around the Houston and Galveston area. She loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her pets, neighbors, and friends.

Amy’s favorite quote was, “After all, tomorrow is another day." - Scarlett O'Hara

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Carl Harry Sachs and her mother, Marsha Lurie Sachs. She is survived by her brother Michael Sachs and his wife, Lisa Sachs, and her niece, Carlie Rose Sachs.

A small private graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 6, 2021 at Beth Jacob Cemetery
