On May 16, 2014 Rosemary A. (nee DiPaola) Smith passed away. She was the cherished wife of Lawrence “Larry” J. Smith; she was the devoted mother of Larry Smith and his wife Debbie, Sam Smith and his wife Kim, Teresa Brocato and Mary Catherine Boeshore and her husband Darryl. She was also the beloved sister of Cathy Sabatino and her husband Sal and the late Joseph DiPaola and dear sister in law of Nancy DiPaola; she is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was a teacher at the Shrine of the Little Flower School for over 25 years she was cherished by her students.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 West MacPhail Road (at Rte 24) on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Shrine of the Little Flower Church, Baltimore on Wednesday at 11 am with entombment to follow at the Parkwood Cemetery Mausoleum.
