Joan Barbara Petrella

On May 4, 2023 Joan B. Petrella (nee Bartkowski, age 86, passed away. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Frederick J. Petrella, Jr.; devoted mother of Robin Lorber and her husband Charles, Frederick Petrella, III, and the late Melody Ann Petrella; cherished grandmother of Brandon Lorber, Justin Lorber (Erica Bodt), and Brooke Lorber (Cameron Wann); loving sister of Richard Bartkowski (Connie). She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ida Bartkowski.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton), on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
